About

Commonwealth Autism Services (CAS) in a MA-based company. CAS’s mission is to support the autism and developmental disability community through providing direct consultation, improving service quality, and expanding the shared knowledgebase on autism-based supports and services.

The leadership team has over 50 combined years providing services to children and adults with autism including program and policy development, monitoring performance measures, and individual client support. That translates into a balanced perspective of the challenges of policy creation and implementation versus the impact of policy on people’s lives. They have managed projects at the state, municipal, and non-profit agency level.  Those projects include program development, leadership activities for short- and long-term budgeting projections, and the coordination and aggregation of data for annual legislative reports, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services audits, and other reporting.

An area of particularly focus has been home safety. Their understanding of systemic challenges faced by families and expert knowledge of resources available to families allows them to develop comprehensive solutions that make a lasting impact. They have supported hundreds of families in their homes to find comprehensive solutions to a wide range of safety-related problems.
