About

Commonwealth Autism Services (CAS) is a Massachusetts-based consulting organization with a clear mission: to support the autism and developmental disability community through direct consultation, improved service quality, and a growing shared knowledgebase on autism-informed supports and services.

Our leadership team brings more than 50 combined years of hands-on experience working with children and adults with autism spanning program development, policy creation, performance monitoring, and direct client support. That depth of experience means we understand both sides of the equation: what it takes to build effective systems and what it actually feels like when those systems fall short for real people and real families.

We have managed projects at the state, municipal, and nonprofit agency level, including program development, long- and short-term budget planning, and data coordination for annual legislative reports, audits, and other critical reporting requirements.

One area where we have made a particularly meaningful impact is home safety. We understand the systemic challenges families face and we know what resources are actually available to help. That combination allows us to develop comprehensive, lasting solutions. To date, we have worked with hundreds of families in their own homes, helping them navigate a wide range of safety concerns with confidence and clarity.

We bring expertise, lived understanding, and a genuine commitment to making a difference one family, one community, one policy at a time.
